Since it started, it has evolved into the first major destination on the Tour’s annual calendar. Held at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club, a truly international field descends annually on the perfectly groomed National Course for four thrilling days of world-class golf in idyllic Arabian Gulf ‘winter’ weather.

Spectators, who need a break from following the action can relax and take refreshments in any of the course eateries or browse golf equipment in the pro shops or participate in fun activities laid on by the Championship’s sponsor.

The newly designed 18th green hospitality pavilion is slicker than ever, offering sponsors and their guests unrivalled views over the last hole and sweeping fairway vistas. However these significant changes have not affected the unique look of the stunning facility. The imposing Falcon Clubhouse, its giant wings spread, still dominates the skyline for the year’s first major stop on the European Tour.
